Pass and Seymour is the only brand we support for outlets, switches, and wall plates and covers. We have been loyal to Pass and Seymour for many years and do not install any competing device brands, because consistent trim quality is what a homeowner touches and sees every single day. These are the same devices we install throughout our new home wiring across the Black Hills.

First Alert

First Alert is our standard brand for smoke detectors. It is reliable, code compliant, and delivers consistent performance, which is exactly what you want from the devices protecting your family.

Power Distribution

Square D by Schneider Electric (Homeline)

Square D is our primary electrical distribution manufacturer, and the products we install include panelboards, circuit breakers, and disconnects. We are very loyal to Schneider Electric because of its excellent performance, reliability, and extremely low callback and failure rates. Wire and Cable

Southwire

Southwire is our exclusive brand for NM-B (Romex) cable. We choose it for the clean, straight pulls off the roll, consistent quality, and easier installation, all of which show up as better performance on the job site.

King Wire

King Wire is our exclusive brand for SER cable. SER stands for Service Entrance Cable, Type R. This is the main feeder cable that carries power from the main disconnect to the main distribution panel in a home. Because SER supplies power to the entire house, it is one of the most critical conductors in any residential electrical system. We have found King Wire SER to be superior to other manufacturers in build quality, consistency, and long term reliability, which is why we install it exclusively in both new home wiring and multi-family wiring projects.

Ideal

Ideal is our exclusive brand for wire connectors, also known as wire nuts. We rely on Ideal for consistent quality and dependable connections, because a splice is only as good as the connector holding it together.

Generators

Briggs and Stratton

Briggs and Stratton is our preferred generator manufacturer. We have seen strong long term performance and reliability from Briggs and Stratton systems, which is why we recommend them for standby generator installation.
